Happy Teachers Day!!!

I have never missed celebrating this beautiful day. May 2nd the birth anniversary of our third Druk Gyalpo is celebrated as the teachers day.
 Many wonderful teachers are involved in shaping me as a person. Firstly I sincerely thank my mom, my first teacher for showering me with all the love and guiding me right from my birth. As the nation joins in celebrating the teachers day, I sincerely thank all my teachers for always supporting  and guiding me. Today your words are my strength and my actions are just your reflection.

To all The teachers of our country;

Dear Teachers

Teaching is one of the most satisfying job anyone can go for. They put in lots of effort and hard work to manufacture the raw student. I feel being teacher itself is the best deed one can do in the present generation. There would be no scientist,  architecture , engineer , doctors, researchers, Agriculturalist , teachers, etc... without a teacher. Teacher creates all other profession. So be proud and satisfied for just being teacher.

Today is your day...  and I wish all our  teachers a "Happy Teachers Day"...

Happy Teachers Day!!!

A Girl with a Purple Scarf

“I was walking down a lonely street. Dusk has started to pull in. I could see flock of birds flying back to their nest. Everyone seemed to be settled in their cozy room. I walked, walked and walked till my vision captured a girl with a purple scarf. She wore a jeans and tee shirt. A beautiful purple scarf was wrapped on her neck.  I just wondered who could be that girl. She was humming a song….I walked towards her. We stared at each other’s face and then called out our names at our highest pitch…. “SONAM SONAM….PASSA PASSA…” the girl with purple scarf was none other than Sonam Xoonam. I opened my eye and found myself on my bed….  I just smiled and called her. It was a dream; I had a few years ago. I felt like I found my best buddy”….
Best friend Forever

“Puencha”………. I fondly call her. I never had a thought of meeting her in my entire life. It just happened. After knowing this beautiful soul for more than five years I just feel I got the world’s best buddy.
I relate her to a friend who is equipped for any adventure and excitement. For me she is the one person who got the best personality and attitude. This girl in a purple scarf has made me realize how much a buddy counts in once life.
The color ‘purple’ always reminds me of my best buddy and every day I remember her with that royal color PURPLE. The color really suits her. Sonam Xoonam is a girl who can light up the group even at her laziest hour. She is a chatty and that’s the best quality I like in her. Outgoing and down to earth are the two words that best describes her. Together we make an ideal friend. We enjoy, we talk, we laugh, we hang out but we never argued. Both of us are gifted with deep understanding and overall she is a very honest girl. She is one of the first person before whom I can open up all my hidden secrets and the only person who knows me in and out and I am the only person she calls first for anything.
Hey!!! Puencha…. Thank You for being my best buddy !!! “You have your whole life, so become someone’s friend before they leave you”…someone rightly said.  We became friends and today we can proudly pronounce ourselves as The Best Friend Forever.

Snake Personality

It was a lazy Friday afternoon. I was alone in my room. A thought came in and then I just browsed the snake personality on Google. I was amazed to see the personality. I found it interesting. This is what it says;

People born during the Year of the Snake are said to be endowed with wisdom and with deep philosophical understanding. They are born thinkers who excel in finding solutions to complex problems. They are clever, intelligent people who take time to formulate their ideas and opinions. Even when they are at their laziest, their minds are working overtime, laying their schemes and hatching their plots for the future. The snake - person loves books, music, clothes, and fine food; but with all his/her fondness for the good things of life, his innate elegance gives him a dislike for frivolities and foolish talk.
Snakes are wise, philosophical, calm, and understanding. They can be lazy and self-indulgent. Their innate elegance can at times be ostentatious.
Their decisions are quick and firm, but they are formed by first impressions, on sympathies and feelings logically assembled in their minds -- rather than by simple facts alone.
Snake people hate rejection. They like communicating and like interesting conversations.

Their anger can be quickly aroused, and they will soon get back if there is a suspicion that someone has taken advantage of their trust or has hurt those close to them. Snakes are materialistic and love keeping up with the Joneses. They love to posses the best of everything, but they have no patience for shopping. Snake people prefer to work alone, therefore they are easily stressed; if they seem unusually stressed, it is best to allow them their own space and time to return to normal.

People born in the year of the snake do not have a lot of friends. It is extremely hard to get to know them because they keep their feelings locked up inside. The snake will be careful in choosing friends. They will never forgive a breach in the friendship. Once people are friends, a Snake is willing to share his sorrow and happiness with them. Snake people guard their chosen friends much like valuable possessions, and they easily jealous and even obsessive. However, People born in the Earth Snake sign are warm, friendly types. They value friendship highly and have plenty of close, intimate friends.

IT is Very Interesting!!!!

My dad and his passion :) :)

If you are in Haa Jyenkhana and if you chanced to meet and talk with Mr. Jamyang then I am sure you will hear him talking on political parties in our country.
Sometime I wish if democracy in our country was born few decades ago; so that my dad could have at least tied his luck. Mr.Jamyang most popularly known as Lopen jamyang is one man who just loves politics and the democracy. At 74, he is still very much fascinated by politics. He has a very sound knowledge on political parties, election and all related to democracy. He keeps himself updated with the latest happening in politics in our country.
A die-hard  fan of our Prime Minister Jigme Y Thinley… he is one of the strongest and most passionate supporter of our present government. He enjoys every talk of our PM. He believes that politics is about being a part of history and every citizen should be aware and responsible. He feels happy and satisfied with his choice in 2008 and says that he is fortunate to have got an opportunity to vote.
With the 2013 election coming around, my dad is always into BBS esp. “Dawa Kuderon” where the spoke person of new political parties is interviewed. Some time I wonder why he is so keen and interested in politics at this age, but it is good to know that he being a citizen enjoys the democracy; the kings’ special gift to his people. I am very glad that he will get a chance to vote for second time.

As the democracy touched the land of Drukyul my dad always had a dream of seeing one of his daughter as future politician…I wish, if one day I could make it and full fill his most passionate dream.................
