My Journey to vegetarianism

Every time you sit on the table for your meal, there is always a choice between kindnesses over cruelty. It’s never that easy to say no to meats. Sometime I just wonder how cruel we are; we never bothered to think over what is in our plate in front of us. There are some who cannot dine without a single meat menu and it has become a usual routine. In the present world, there are plenty of options and choices of foods for vegetarian. Why eat others, when we can’t bear the pain of a slightest cut on our body. This is just my thinking.
In my case, it’s a different story. I never enjoyed eating meat. It doesn’t mean I am a religious or an animal lover. It was just a natural choice. I aren’t a vegetarian, I do eat dried meat like dry fish and Sikaam but not always. I haven’t tasted any other menu than those mentioned. A year ago I had bidden good bye to Sikaam and just a month ago I stopped the very appetitezer; dry fish. I find eggs too dirty to eat and that childhood notion has helped me to stay away from eating eggs. Back home, when my mom cook delicious meat dishes, I would choose to have a simple potato curry. A Non- Vegetable dishes never excites me.
My journey to vegetarian took a long year though I hardly take. At times it is difficult and disadvantage of being a vegetarian especially when you are travelling and people always prefer to serve you with non-veg menu. That is the time when I just close my eyes and say I am not hungry. Sometime people take it another way; when we say we are vegetarian. I vividly remember a lady asking me,” are you Ngyae (fish), Pha (pork) and Gong (egg) sum?” To which my response was yeah! I already knew what notion was ringing in her head. But there is nothing like that in it. It is just a matter of being vegetarian.
It is sad when the never talking creatures are killed for human consumption and satisfaction. Everyone has a right to live their way. Why kill another and eat or wear them to quench our hunger and warm our self? Where is the humanity?? These questions keep ringing in my head frequently. I don’t find it a fair game.  Going vegetarian doesn’t require any extra strength. Just stop buying meat; instead replace your menu with veggies. The prolong absence of non-veg menu will slowly decline your interest for the no-veg menu and later becoming a vegetarian.

Congratulation to myself!!! I am a month old vegetarian. I would never choose to eat meat any more. This is just a bit I could do for those never talking creatures. Someday I am looking forward to go vegan.

Places on the earth I wanted to explore

Being born in this fairy tale kingdom, I feel extremely fortunate to breathe the Bhutanese air. Aside from Bhutan, there are many places I wanted to visit. I always enjoyed travelling and experiencing different adventures.
As a Young high school girl, I used to say Switzerland but that was just a saying. As of now I really wish to go to Seoul, South Korea. The only people I can think of visiting Seoul are with my pals. An idea of a mini vacation in Seoul will be complete only with my friends. Seoul is all about having fun and freedom. It won’t be that much fun to explore or holiday with your parents in Seoul. I would dare not to miss a chance if I was to go for   a pilgrimage in Bodh gaya or Nepal with my family, but Seoul is different. My love for this beautiful City goes back to the days when I first read about the city in a magazine.  It’s beautiful landscape, amazing culture and of all the benevolent and beautiful people can make anyone fall in love. A thought of shopping in Seoul will make any one a crazy shopaholic. I can’t wait to visit Seoul with my friends and live a life of a carefree Korean at least for a week.
The capital of turkey, Istanbul is another place I wish to see. The only place which lies within  two continent; Europe and Asia. I always wish to stand on that bridge; The Bosphrous bridge and take a selfie… :p. Sonam; you are the only one i could think of visiting this place with. Our love for travelling and our extra excitement will make the trip more memorable. I hope we get a chance to see this place together.
Who won’t like to visit Paris? It will be a never ending dream for me to capture a glimpse of the most beautiful and the romantic Effile Tower. I sincerely wish to visit Paris with the people I love the most.
There are many places in the list but for now those three are my first pick. A world tour with my best buddies had always been my dream and it’s still alive.

More Up dates coming Soon!!!!!!

Just the way you are

It was just yesterday I found my lost drive and without any second thought I am posting this for you. Actually it was written on your birthday; I am sorry for the delay. Any ways a happy belated birthday!!!
I always remember you as that friend equipped with perfection. The first time we ran into each other, we were like “God! I hate that girl”. I vividly remember how Denka and I talked behind you. We were completely wrong then. You are a total opposite of what we thought. Today if I were to describe you, words are not enough to do that. Still I am here with a paragraph for you on your special day:
You are that daughter; every parent would love to have!!!
You are that sister; every sibling wish to have!!!
You are that student; every teacher would love to have!!!
You are that friend; everyone would love to be around!!!
You are that friend with both beauty and brain.  Your presence makes our group homely and lively. You are a great decision maker and of all a very caring friend. With you around us, we feel safe and sound. All I could say is you are just you.
It had been seven wonderful years knowing you. I am happy that in you I found one of my best buddies. Today our bond has become more like peas in a pod. As you celebrate your birthday, I celebrate our friendship. We wish you load of luck, happiness and success. Remember! Be what you have been and you are perfect the way you are now. We love you just the way you are!!!!
