Autumn in My Heart

Image
The touch of leaves falling over you, the feeling of chill breeze brushing against your cheeks, yeah! Finally the fall is here. Back home the Blessed Rainy Day is the indication of the last monsoon and the start of a new season. I was walking along the beach of Scheveningen here in the Hauge and watching the waves play with the sand. A group of granny playing on the beach distracted me and I was gazing them with a deep thought. They were living their youthful days. It just reminded me that age is just a numerical but inside, our heart never grows old. I went into the sea to feel the waves but then the peace environment took me into a thought. A thought of my late uncle came ringing in my mind. Today was his 49 th day and I still couldn’t believe that he is no longer with us.  I smiled through tears chewing over my days with my late uncle. The last autumn, I remember us together talking over a cup of tea. At the end it is just the memories that can live and will be valued for...

Straight from my Heart … with much Love!!!

The new day was just born. It was 12:35 am, the 12 th of August 2014. I was awaken by the repeated beeping of my cell phone. In my half sleep state I could see many familiar numbers calling me; I rubbed my eyes to catch the clear view, yeah! My family member started ringing me one after another. I rejected everyone’s call for I already knew why and what they wanted to say. Slowly tears started oozing out of my eyes and for a while my heart stopped beating. I was left in a state with No-emotion. “Om Mani Padmae Hung” I whispered to myself. It was that moment when my uncle breathed his last. The midnight of 12 th August 2014 I lost my dearest uncle. A million words wouldn’t bring you back, I know because I have tried them…. Neither would a million tears, I know because I have cried them. This is the uncertainty of the so called life. A month ago we shared the same food from a pot and our talk over a cup of tea, these memories are killing me. I still don’t believe you are no more! ...

A Note from my diary .....

“I am so blessed to be born to you. Thank you for being my strength and confidence”. She is simple, brave, serious and hardworking. A woman of her word; unlike my dad, mom talk less and does more. Today she is 57 years old and I proudly say that she is one of the most hardworking ladies I have ever seen in my entire life. She is a strict mom compared to my dad. She taught me to be disciplined and behave myself. As a kid I have troubled her so much with my naughtiness and prank. I never bothered to lend her a hand. I am a pampered daughter of my mom. I’m thankful to my mom for breastfeeding me till I was five; actually that was too much but yeah! I was. She is sincere and cool. I respect her as an individual and for being such a great woman. She is a true inspiration. I miss the way you scold me, the way you look at me when I do something wrong and of all I miss the food you cook for me. You have been a wonderful mom and I love you  with all my heart. You are the person i...

My dad and his passion :) :)

If you are in Haa Jyenkhana and if you chanced to meet and talk with Mr. Jamyang then I am sure you will hear him talking on political parties in our country. Sometime I wish if democracy in our country was born few decades ago; so that my dad could have at least tied his luck. Mr.Jamyang most popularly known as Lopen jamyang is one man who just loves politics and the democracy. At 74, he is still very much fascinated by politics. He has a very sound knowledge on political parties, election and all related to democracy. He keeps himself updated with the latest happening in politics in our country. A die-hard  fan of our Prime Minister Jigme Y Thinley… he is one of the strongest and most passionate supporter of our present government. He enjoys every talk of our PM. He believes that politics is about being a part of history and every citizen should be aware and responsible. He feels happy and satisfied with his choice in 2008 and says that he is fortunate to have got an oppor...
