MY OWN HAPPINESS

This is a post written by my Friend Tshewang Lhamo. Thank you for sharing with me and I just can’t stop posting it on my blog. Be happy always and I am happy that in your happiness and in your small world I share a part of me in it.
              
“Smile on my face, peace in my mind, good friends around me & lovely siblings. This is life, so I say! What can I ask more for, when I have everything I want, my own. I don’t say I am the happiest of all but I can say that I’m too much happy and contended in my own ways, in my own small world. Peacefully I sleep on my few inches of mattress until my alarm wakes me up. Eat till my belly says no and wear what I have, what suits me well and with what I am comfortable in. For now, I am in love with my World.
I wasn’t born with a silver spoon in my mouth and now I don’t live a king’s life, but happiness is always within me and I would dare not to lose this anymore. May be or may not be, but some people relate happiness to having everything and fulfilling all their unlimited desires and other worldly pleasures, whereas for me happiness comes with a peace within self, friends and family. In my own way, life is going well, I am happy and I could see people around me smiling. For now I can’t ask for a better life than this. I love my life and just too happy to be me”.

My Unfinished Dream

I left my cell phone at home, and didn’t recall bringing my Lunch Box. I nearly missed my bus. I tried opening my mail, Alas!!! It says “Wrong Password… Try again”. What’s wrong?? Nothing was going well today. “Was it really going to be my Bad Hair Day…?” I whispered to myself . I gazed around and looked for someone to talk to. Just then my eyes were on an orange envelope lying in my unzipped bag. My hands were faster than my thought. Quickly I reached to the envelope. The address clearly says it was for me. “zaii……… kay Namesey meay soft du…..” I thought. I closed my eyes to feel the voice of a stranger seated behind me. It was 9 th April 2012. I was on my way from Chubu hot spring in Punakha. After around four hours of journey, finally I reached chuzom; the confluence. I caught a cab and sat inside. By then, I was fully exhausted like an old tire.
