Flashback February

 February came and left with loads of memories to cherish!!!

In the February air, I learnt to enjoy every  moment , and in its darkness I almost gave my way to impermanence when 7.3 magnitude Earthquake occurred. All in all, February was short and sweet. The shades of this month shall be cherished forever!!!

The Winter Sun

I always had a fond memories with the winter sun. As December makes its way towards 2013,  I could feel the winter sun shining upon me. The winter sun always reminds me of my days back at Haa. The 1st of December, Sunday, I was outside my room in Mongar. The enormous and beautiful Sun was just above me and I was gazing the sun all alone... a nostalgic memories came flooding like a wild cataract. The warmth and feeling in the winter sun is very much different from the summer sun. The Happiness and excitement you feel in the morning when the sun rise and the sadness that touches your heart when the sun kisses the hills in the evening. The winter sun is always worth watching. My Journey to vegetarianism

Every time you sit on the table for your meal, there is always a choice between kindnesses over cruelty. It’s never that easy to say no to meats. Sometime I just wonder how cruel we are; we never bothered to think over what is in our plate in front of us. There are some who cannot dine without a single meat menu and it has become a usual routine. In the present world, there are plenty of options and choices of foods for vegetarian. Why eat others, when we can’t bear the pain of a slightest cut on our body. This is just my thinking. In my case, it’s a different story. I never enjoyed eating meat. It doesn’t mean I am a religious or an animal lover. It was just a natural choice. I aren’t a vegetarian, I do eat dried meat like dry fish and Sikaam but not always. I haven’t tasted any other menu than those mentioned. A year ago I had bidden good bye to Sikaam and just a month ago I stopped the very appetitezer; dry fish. I find eggs too dirty to eat and that childhood notion has helped

Friendship Day Special

The first Sunday of August is considered as a Friendship Day and this year it was on 3 rd August. Many beautiful quotes flowed on social websites like Facebook , Wechat and Twitter. I started receiving amazing text in my cell phone. The world celebrated the day with beautiful words for their friend and I didn't stay away anymore. I joined the people in wishing all my friends a Happy friendship Day. There is no better way to start my first post of August with this piece. I sincerely dedicate this piece to one of my friend. Who says opposite gender can’t make a good friend. Actually that was my notion during my schooling days. A decade ago, back in Haa I first met my friend. Who would dare to talk with him; he was then the most serious guy we have ever seen.  We weren't really a friend during our schooling days.
