Just the way you are

It was just yesterday I found my lost drive and without any second thought I am posting this for you. Actually it was written on your birthday; I am sorry for the delay. Any ways a happy belated birthday!!!
I always remember you as that friend equipped with perfection. The first time we ran into each other, we were like “God! I hate that girl”. I vividly remember how Denka and I talked behind you. We were completely wrong then. You are a total opposite of what we thought. Today if I were to describe you, words are not enough to do that. Still I am here with a paragraph for you on your special day:
You are that daughter; every parent would love to have!!!
You are that sister; every sibling wish to have!!!
You are that student; every teacher would love to have!!!
You are that friend; everyone would love to be around!!!
You are that friend with both beauty and brain.  Your presence makes our group homely and lively. You are a great decision maker and of all a very caring friend. With you around us, we feel safe and sound. All I could say is you are just you.
It had been seven wonderful years knowing you. I am happy that in you I found one of my best buddies. Today our bond has become more like peas in a pod. As you celebrate your birthday, I celebrate our friendship. We wish you load of luck, happiness and success. Remember! Be what you have been and you are perfect the way you are now. We love you just the way you are!!!!

I always had a fond memories with the winter sun. As December makes its way towards 2013,  I could feel the winter sun shining upon me. The winter sun always reminds me of my days back at Haa. The 1st of December, Sunday, I was outside my room in Mongar. The enormous and beautiful Sun was just above me and I was gazing the sun all alone... a nostalgic memories came flooding like a wild cataract. My Journey to vegetarianism

Every time you sit on the table for your meal, there is always a choice between kindnesses over cruelty. It’s never that easy to say no to meats. Sometime I just wonder how cruel we are; we never bothered to think over what is in our plate in front of us. There are some who cannot dine without a single meat menu and it has become a usual routine. In the present world, there are plenty of options and choices of foods for vegetarian. Why eat others, when we can’t bear the pain of a slightest cut on our body. This is just my thinking. In my case, it’s a different story. I never enjoyed eating meat. It doesn’t mean I am a religious or an animal lover. It was just a natural choice. I aren’t a vegetarian, I do eat dried meat like dry fish and Sikaam but not always. I haven’t tasted any other menu than those mentioned. A year ago I had bidden good bye to Sikaam and just a month ago I stopped the very appetitezer; dry fish. I find eggs too dirty to eat and that childhood notion has helped

A Girl with a Purple Scarf

“I was walking down a lonely street. Dusk has started to pull in. I could see flock of birds flying back to their nest. Everyone seemed to be settled in their cozy room. I walked, walked and walked till my vision captured a girl with a purple scarf. She wore a jeans and tee shirt. A beautiful purple scarf was wrapped on her neck.  I just wondered who could be that girl. She was humming a song….I walked towards her. We stared at each other’s face and then called out our names at our highest pitch…. “SONAM SONAM….PASSA PASSA…” the girl with purple scarf was none other than Sonam Xoonam. I opened my eye and found myself on my bed….  I just smiled and called her. It was a dream; I had a few years ago. I felt like I found my best buddy”…. Best friend Forever “Puencha”………. I fondly call her. I never had a thought of meeting her in my entire life. It just happened. After knowing this beautiful soul for more than five years I just feel I got the world’s best buddy.
